Electric vehicle sales report

Tesla reports it is on course to deliver a record number of electrically powered cars in Q2 2019, beating the 90,700 it sent to customers in Q4 2018. The company produced an average of 900 Model 3 cars per day last week. According to IHS Markit forecasts, US total demand for electric vehicles, including hybrids, could rise to 1.28 million by 2026. IHS Markit forecasts that more than 130 models in the US market, from 43 brands, will offer electrified propulsion systems, either pure battery electric or hybrid gasoline-electric. Continue reading

Every theme park in Florida has a major new attraction heading into the summer vacation season, and that also means consumers are spending more to go there. One-day admission can reach $159 at Disney World and $84.99 at Busch Gardens. International Business Ethics and Sustainability

Stetson University students from Florida took home a first place and two second place wins at the International Business Ethics and Sustainability Case Competition (IBECC). IBESCC is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious event where students from around the world compete to identify business problems and apply ethical solutions. Stetson’s College of Law, situated in campuses in Tampa Bay, Florida, offers Juris Doctor and Master of Laws degrees. Courses designed to prepare students for their future

The first graduating class of the University of Central Florida (UCF) Inclusive Education Services program will complete a program designed for students with intellectual disabilities this spring. Students in the program, which is part of UCF Inclusive Education Services, aren’t seeking bachelor’s degrees, though they take courses designed to prepare them for their adult lives and careers and receive a credential intended specifically for them.

Free education at University of Central Florida

Disney workers who want to get a free education can now enroll at University of Central Florida (UCF), the state’s largest university and one that’s only a short drive away from Walt Disney World Resort. Disney and the University of Central Florida announced that this is the latest option for workers who may choose certain schools and programs to further their education paid upfront by Disney.
