Customs & Import Duties

It seems incredible, but different inspectors at different ports of entry can have different interpretations of tax and/or customs import duty codes. One piece of advice we can provide is: when you find a port of entry with favorable rates and reliably good performance… stick with it.

You may find importing goods to a US company with a US address raises less questions at Customs than for goods arriving from or for “foreign” companies.

Usually, the best provider of information, or cost quotation, is your shipping company, agent, or broker.
